Wits End Ranch
has an assortment of fantastic pet farm animals which are a
part of our petting zoo. Our original thought was to allow
our livestock to reproduce so visiting kids could see babies
BUT have found we have lots of people who want to purchase
our babies. We raise miniature horses, registered miniature
donkeys, registered Old English Baby Doll sheep, Nigerian
Pygmy goats, and extra small pot belly pigs.
Baby Doll Sheep are considered a rare breed that stay small
and are extremely gentle. They will not eat trees but will
mow your yard and follow you like a dog. They look lovely
out in a pasture and are a pleasure to own. Our lambs arrive
March and April.
 
Our miniature
horses vary in size from the child riding size down to our
little stallion that looks like a big dog. We recently put a
mini jenny in his pen in hopes of making a miniature mule.
 
We have VERY
nice registered miniature donkeys that are show quality and
have produced incredible sweet colts.
 
Our small goat
herd is one of the kid’s favorite animals to feed and pet.
We recently switched our pygmy buck with a white and orange
spotted Nigerian Dwarf buck. We now are producing the cutest
little Nigerian Pygmy kids. We have sold them as pets and
gotten raves about how dog like they are but no barking, or
digging!
  
Leeann and Leroy
our extra small pigs come from “The Best Little Pig House in
Texas” which is famous for their small pigs. We have
piglets every spring.
